Is because now with essence you can get a skin (urf ww is the only one I know of now) Now everyone is up in arms over the ip back but if they didn't do the whole buy a skin with essence thing then no one would've got as mad over it... just an theory, A opinion theory... (I know that was dumb)

People are just entitled. We bought the runes and have gotten use out of them. Of they never were gonna change them the ip we spent would have never crossed out minds. But now people feel they deserve full refund for something that was essentually free and you have gotten your ip's worth.

People just need to accept what they are getring cause riot doesnt even have to do 10% if they didnt want to.
