Gameplay update: juggernauts

This is just my first take written directly after reading RIOT's newest changes to our "Juggernauts" the four that were shown were Garen, Skarner, Morde and last but not least Darius. I will break down my thoughts on the "changes" that are in the link. Feel free to join in and tell me what you think I will break it down by champion.

Garen - Our demacian protector has a new passive that in my opinion sounds AWFUL. [NEW] Passive: Garen identifies the enemy champion with the most recent kills as the enemy team’s Villain. Judgment ticks and basic attacks on the Villain deal an additional 1% of their max Health as true damage. Think about it, your teammate has to die in order for it to trigger. This means you have to be put at a deficit in order for it to be used. The true damage is a unique idea but I don't think it will stack up against the competition. (as we will see later) Also they changed his ult a bit. Active: Garen calls upon the might of Demacia to deal a finishing blow to a targeted enemy. The more health they’re missing, the more damage Demacian Justice will deal. [NEW] Demacian Justice deals true damage to the enemy team’s Villain. This again must work off of the "trigger" of the passive which as I stated before looks AWFUL. True damage on your ult would be really strong but what are the chances that you are using against the marked target? So while these changes look to make Garen have a "unique role" (that is the wording from the article) I don't think that it increases his playability.

Skarner - Our scorpion friend had something very interesting added to his kit, shrines now appear at buffs and drag/baron that can be captured by both teams. If this shrine is captured by his team it grants Skarner and only Skarker a movement and attack speed buff while in the area, vice versa if captured by the opposing team it grants gold and vision and denies said buff. This is interesting because it puts more importance on jungle control as well as objective control when it comes to dragon and baron. This can be said for both teams so I think that is will increase the competition for these goals when playing with or against a Skarner. This is a change that can either be a buff or a nerf depending on how your team plays. I wouldn't expect to see a spike in Sakrner play when it comes to solo queue but in 5v5 teams I'd watch out this can either steamroll the game or sink your ship depending on how you control these new skrines. (skarner + shrine = skrines shoutcasters thank me later for this)

Mordekaiser - The big metal man (sorry bliztcrank) has been changed a bit and it has to do with everyone's favorite 5 stacking objective Dragon! Morde can get the dragon as a ghost now. He has to curse the dragon by dealing damage (seems a bit too simple) and then his team must kill it and voila he gets a dragon ghost. This is interesting depending on restrictions (can you TP to it) and duration of the ghost. To go along with this change the nerfed creeping death so that it only deals damage if Morde and the target are "close" together (this range has not been identified yet). This could be a nerf that isn't really noticeable or it could make creeping death a risky skill to use only time and further information will tell.

Darius - As for the giant axe carrying Noxian he got the hookup from RIOT. He kept hemorrhage while adding a bonus to it. This bonus is called Blood Rage. Blood Rage only activates upon Darius killing an opponent with his ult that has max stacks of hemorrhage. It is pretty easy to apply five stacks of hemorrhage (most of us have seen this first hand on the losing end lol). Blood rage grants Darius increased attack damage and also applies max hemorrhage stacks to enemies he hits. This makes his full damage ult almost guaranteed and turns Darius from the cleanup king to the deranged damage master. This is the champ that is going to benefit the most from his changes in my opinion.

As I stated above these are only my opinions, you can feel free to have different ones and I would like to hear about them. Once more information is available I will write another post about how I think these changes may effect each game mode: ARAM, Summoner's Rift, Twisted Treeline and Dominion. Thanks for any input you guys want to give, and thanks for reading this. ( I know it was long and a bit wordy but I wanted to be sure to not leave anything out)
