I'm had two games gone on a lot longer than they should have because the adc didn't buy any form of this item. The last game I was lucky enough to realize early and then when the jinx baught the item it was more or less an instant win.
So in the event that the adc forgets this who can buy this? Would it be an ad assassin and/or bruiser?

The Leo Cat2 votesA last whisper? Doesn't matter. As long as you're attacking someone who's been building armor. But if you're putting it on a Non-ADC a black cleaver may be a better choice as it gives you some stats to help you survive getting close and personal.

Asayake 5150glow1 votesIt's best on AD focused carry type champions, if not the marksman class itself. Examples are skirmishers, slayers, and some DPS based divers.
The ADC should really buy it though.
Cleaver is also a really good alternative, and also works on other AD diver/bruisers/tanks to make your ADC do more damage.

Kaioko1 votesIf your front line has got black cleaver getting a LW isn't always needed. Especially with the double attack speed meta item meta currently. If you need to get GA you're forced to choose between lifesteal and armor penetration.
