Will it take for Riot to revert mordekaiser?

Revert is a really specific change - one I really doubt will ever happen regardless of how vocal the community here is.

It would also be a pretty sad change to make considering the implications of what Mordekaiser's current interesting (but clearly OP) kit is adding to the game:

Marksman have been mandatory since season 1. Where in top-lane you can run any melee champion or even certain mages or marksman - you have to run a marksman bot carry. Where in jungle you can run essentially any melee - in bot lane it's always been a marksman. Where in mid-lane you can run assassins or mages and the occasional marksman or fighter, in bot lane it's always been a marksman. Where in support you can run a support, mage, or tank - in bot lane you always have to run a marksman.

Having the option to pick an alternate archetype in the ADC roll, even with Riot bumbling around and faceplanting with Morde's rework, is on a path to a much more interesting game than the alternative.
