Azir's E cd is long and never decreases through leveling it up, can u buff it so that it decreases with level? 19/18/17/16/15?
Removing it's knock-up is gutting as it is, why not compensate a little, a tiny bit and help Azir?

Not exactly, I still remember Faker getting solo'd over and over in lane by Febiven's 
back in MSI even when he still had the knock-up. 
also destroy him regardless of knock-up. The only match up it tilted was the 
match up because before you could stop her ult with your E but now you have to ult or she will straight up murder you.

He has range yes, but you forget at level 6 Azirs Q is still on a pretty long cooldown. If the Azir ever tries to poke with Q in lane, Fizz can easily E out of the dmg and then Q to Azir and they only thing Azir can do is lose the trade and try to walk away. Fizz E also jumps over Azir wall and can dodge it all together if timed correctly. As for Faker not being known for Azir. There is some truth to that yes, but don't forget SKT T1 Easyhoon was considered the best 
and one of the best 
in the world. Him and Faker played quite a bit so I'm more than certain Faker knew his way around the champion. He also knows Zed inside and out, and everything Zed is capable of. I also remember in worlds Bjergson solo killing the KT mid laners over and over with Leblanc.

That's the thing though. He doesn't get a level 6 power spike and kill potential with his ult like assassins do. His damage remains the exact same until he gets items. He can't out burst an assassin until mid / late game, no where close during laning phase.

Seriously, Azir has one of the fastest AA and most satisfying AA animations in the game and its a shame hes hard locked to ponying on a single ability.
