Right now there's 3 ways of building him...

Lethality

On-Hit

Critical Strike

I'm not suggesting that it's bad that he can fit these playstyles but from my point of view he doesn't seem to have that playstyle that makes him exceptionally stronger than other ADC's. Sure he can poke well with Lethality better than anyone, but it would be nice to see Riot rework his kit slightly to bring more power to one of the playstyles instead of the power being devided into 3 different styles.

Sorry for making a bit of mess writting this, but I just wanted to share my thoughts regarding this. Write down below if you agree/disagree and what you think, I want to see what some of you think.

I like him being effective with more than one build.

This is how most characters should be instead of waiting for an OP build for them to be meta.

True, I still like it but at the same time he doesn't feel that strong in my opinion.

Ashe - ashe has amazing slow, and amazing kitting.

Caitlyn - Caitlyn has high range, great early damage.

Tristana - High range, jump, knock away.

But Varus doesn't feel like he has something that other marksman don't. Which brings me to saying this, he doesn't feel all that unique considering he's this corruption and all...

Inbuilt AoE Grevious Wounds with a slow attached and %HP damage on W passive are 2 strong mechanics, his Ult is a good CC and an isolation tool. He plays more on utility and disrupting the enemies compared to other ADCs. He is more of a team player rather than a crit-stacking-solo-hero.

I'm not asking Riot to buff him or anything but just to change his kit in a way that would make use of his scallings. Like getting rid of the AP ratios maybe? Or make his kit more physical damage based.

they gimped his Q ratio back when lethality was OP. Lethality Varus is really garbo right now. On-hit with an IE is the way to go

Isn't that his strength though? The fact that you can pick him first and then change your build depending on how the other team picks/how the game is going is an advantage that not many have anymore.
