Problem With Balance

I have to pick my champion based on my predictions as to what the balance team is going to whimsically going to do.

I try to pick underdogs, people who generally don't get pick or banned often if at all, as well as they generally avoid the Nerf bat of riot.

Recently things have been working counter intuitive, mainly champs who have been subject to the Balance teams whimsical nature.

For awhile now champs who have no right in being touched at at all except for some possible buffs have been experiences massive change for no apparent reason. Cass Wasn't That bad, so she got reworked and completely gutted. Then sejuani was doing extremely well as ap, as shown by Mister_Oink, and then for some random reason a kit rework was done completely changing what sejuani was. Azir was OP, but still fairly decent win rate and then he got one of the biggest guts I've seen in a long time.

Then we have champions who have been very outstanding and VERY unhealthy for a very long time barely receive anything. Yasuo, the Cancerai was consistently heralded as someone no one wants in the game for over a year, and riot didn't really change anything, infact they actually buffed him, then eventually gutted him. Syndra was OP for a very, very long time, and I even added her to my roster, and it took years before anything happened to her, which Is odd because of how destructively strong she was. I stopped playing her because winning was just too easy. I'd do bad the whole game and then carry the game, consistently. Lee sin, Zed, LB have been annoying for a long time, More so starting with lee and less so ending with LB. Nothing has been done to them and no guts like every other undeserving champion receives. Well zed got an AS nerf which addressed none of his problem, well you could have cut his base AS by half and it still wouldn't fix his problems.

Why is Riot So hesitant to completely Gut LC$ big plays champions like Yasuo, Zed, and Syndra when the game is better off with them no longer existing, yet they aren't hesitant to gut champions that have no reason to be reworked/touched besides some slight adjustments.

The Gutting pattern of champions is so bizarre. Waited a year before yasuo got his. There was countless extremely practical, viable, and well thought out reworks to make yasuo no such an annoying piece of shit, and despite design teams reading and responding to these threads, every single idea was ignored. Cass got this same treatment. Countless discussions from the core Cass players with riot, and riot didn't take any of the feedback into account and just ignored everyone who knows cass the best.

Now Morde and Veigar are both getting gutted for really no apparent reason. Ghostcrawler even said

{quoted} "Morde feels like a fighter who is overly constrained by mana and perhaps should not be.

I mean just what is the Balance team doing? Morde doesn't have mana, and his playstyle is to constantly spam spells without relent. At no point when anyone plays more do they feel constrained in using mana.

Veigar has a well below 50% win rate for a long time, and then he got indirectly nefred with the DFG removal. I thought this wouldn't be too bad because they said they'd compensate him for it, but to my surprise they instead gave him an indiscriminate nerf.

Balance team can you stop being so biased when it comes to nerfing people? You wait to long to Gut some champs yet don't hesitate to gut others. It's annoying beyond belief.
