Why'd you guys Gut veigar and heavily nerf morde?

I had a 70% win rate as veigar last season when I started taking ranked seriously, so I can't say I didn't really understand the need to nerf him, but I feel the indirect DFG and then the cutthroat Gut you did on him was a little over the top.

As for morde, this one is... Interesting. He's already urgot tier so I'm not sure why you decided to compensate him for the DFG removal by heavily nerfing him. Not as badly as the Azir or veigar Gut, but the gut is still there.

So Riot, Why'd you guys decide to gut these two? Interested to know the actual reason!
