Double XP/BE never again?

From what I can find, the last double IP weekend was just over a year ago at the end of last April with the release of Xayah and Rakan. Are we never going to have one of these again for XP? Are we ever going to get consistent Daily missions to make up for it? What happened to party bonuses? It just seems that Riot got all serious after franchising in PRO-LOL and hasn't done anything fun for the community in a hot minute.
