Remember when evelynn had AD scalings? I miss those days, evelynn was my main and fav champion. I can't even stand to look at the new evelynn.

Evelynn was such a wonderful champion till Riot decided evelynn had too much diversity and sunk their poisonous fangs into her and did to evelynn what they did to nidalee and forced only 1 way to play her. Riot has a history of removing diversity in this game, just look at the "Runes Reforged".

Just looking through my old games and rewatching some of them makes me happy yet so ANGRY at riot.

Riot should put AD scalings on her new abilities.

Common trend among reworks and new champs is discouraging multiple build paths. Don't know why.

Same. More than anything I miss the multiple rapid on-hit applications with her E. Would love to be able to do that with her new ult with a build involving item 3091 item 3115 item 3153.

Warwick kept his AP ratios in his rework, but Evelynn, a champ known for her versatility in builds, is now forced to build the same shitty feast-or-famine AP assassin items every single game.

I don't even think all of her abilities need AD scaling. Just E's non % health damage could scale off AD and it would be enough to let her build hybrid at least.

Yeah no. Not how that works. 90% of people didn't even know what old Evelynn's ult was.

Also, permastealth from level 1 wasn't fun or fair or balanced. Locking it behind a time where most people have a chance to fight against her was a good change.

If you think old runes were better, you're outright delusional. I have multiple possible runes for champions now, not just a single possible one.

Also, new runes are simply more fun. Predator, Unsealed Spellbook, Lethal Tempo, Kleptomancy. All are fun to take and use. Who doesn't love a semi-global WW ult, or attacking 7 times a second, or having something that encourages you to get just a bit closer to the fighting as Sona, instead of just hanging back and pressing Q to poke now and then? What part of the old runes/masteries was fun, or interactive, or even offered you the slightest choice in what you took? Sure, 1% crit was kinda fun to see if you got a lucky crit early on, but it was ultimately shitty if you didn't get it. It may have been somewhat fun to three-shot someone at level 1 with a full-AD page as Draven, but that was hardly interactive at all for anyone, or fair, or fun for anyone you were against.

New runes aren't perfect, sure, but they're honestly as interactive as you're going to be able to hope for with any kind of rune/mastery system.
