Because the tentacles have a decent range, attack fast and have a huge hitbox. In other words you can't dodge them in reaction without a dash. Also you should know what you're supposed to dodge if it's as uninteractive as Illaoi E or from her ult. The only one I agree should be shown as well are heimer turrets, the other ones are either invisible, champion replica, minions or have a small range that requires you to walk into the bush to even activate.
The bushes don't grow on the walls so they can't hide the tentacles as they are on the walls, not inside the bushes.
Invisible tentacles slamming you would be pretty spooky. I just wish they wouldn't go dormant when you're not there, it kinda sucks that enemies know whether you're nearby.
