Serious question regarding the masteries; Ferocity-Tree: Sorcery

Hey Community!

I've got a question regarding the Sorcery-Mastery. It says:

"+X% increased Ability damage". Of course I leaped to the wiki and found this:

> Notes > It still has to be tested if this means that all abilities damage is thus amplified or it only applies to non-on-hit spells, effects on AoE spells are also yet to be tested.

The mastery "Natural Talent" for example has the wording "Ability Power".

I'm curious if someone tested this, it would be a huge help for my... evil plans.
