Gold is a nightmare

I've been through all elos up to Gold, I've seen all players. Bronze was OK. Some toxic players, but OK. Team cooperation and hope and whatever. Silver was a bit more competitive and the flame was more ouchy, but still OK. Gold is a disaster. In like 80% of my games, they start flaming and spamming insults even from champ select, not to say anything about the game itself. Just why? What's going on here?

Oh, also the number of trolls increase. I am not talking about feeders or inters. Example: I was winning my promos and my team surrendered for fun because they were bored to watch me carry and destroy cute little enemy nexus turrets.

I don't understand. Maybe my IQ is not high enough to find the reason behind these strange attitudes. Maybe you can enlighten me.

Gold isn't actually Gold anymore. Gold is Bronze 2.0. Clean accounts have their MMR sitting at higher Silver to low Gold. With the sheer amount of players playing this causes what should be average to above average players to become heavily infested with very below average players. Thus lowering the overall quality of the rank. With such players comes such mentalities as well. That is why you are experiencing higher amounts of toxicity.

It's actually funny because it seems in ranked people actually get angry when you start carrying them. People are fucking weird individuals is all man, nothing wrong on your part.
