Well done...?

Long story short, I've had 10k health problems since I was a kid, some of them left untreated because it was hard to trace the cause. I now play this game because it helps me forget about some of them (yep, you can't focus on you headache, vision problems and fever when you have to focus on winning the game). OFC I have some kind of PTSD, whatever. This is why I mute everyone when the match starts (cause if I am flamed really bad by someone, chances are I might have a panic attack and spend my day crying.... yeeeeeaaaaah).

Sometimes, when I want to talk about a strategy or something (when we are losing a game), I unmute my team. As you know, when we are losing, there's a lot of flame in chat. So my team has enough time to throw insults among them or at me, insults like k*s, go die, get cancer, I hope you die, you don't deserve to live, get HIV, get raped and whatever. It doesn't happen everytime, but when it does, it's definitely not pleasant. I have enough health problems and stress IRL, I really don't need XYZ forms of cancer and bonus tumors, as flamers wish I had.

Sad part is that I remember every single extreme flamer. The summoner name, their rank, the champion they were playing. I sometimes check their profile. After spamming k*s and racial slurs like 80 times in a game, they're still not banned. I don't understand this report system anymore. I do remember about a toxic player I have met in 3 different games, one in 2016, one in 2017, and one a few weeks ago. In every single game he flamed and spammed the 3-letter ban generator, and his account hasn't been banned yet. This is just an example. @Riot? Where are you?

PS: downvote my post as much as you want, it won't change the truth.

Hey I see you are on EUNE, If you play enough and are interested in some relaxing ARAMs I would love to play with you. Send me a friend request if you are up for it. Name is the same as here. P.S. Whenever you see someone flaming you need to stop for a second and think to yourself. "I might have all these hindrances in my life and I am still more positive than this person" But actually think about it, think about how strong you are, that you don't have to resort to insulting others or trying to diminish their existence even though they deserve it. Think about flaming as a form of self-perservation for the weak that can't even face the fact they lost a game and need to divert blame to others in order to feel better about themselves.

And you will not get any of those just because a random guy on the internet said so.

After spamming k*s and racial slurs like 80 times in a game, they're still not banned.

And i do not believe this. If you reported them, the "kys" will punish them.

Give us some kind of proof. Until then, change what you say as much as you want, the truth wont change.

Ps.: Also, i think you take these stuff too serious. Just don't care about people.... People wishing you to die does not change anything. They do not even mean it...

Sometimes, when I want to talk about a strategy or something (when we are losing a game), I unmute my team.

A couple of things here.

  1. You don't have to unmute. You can just say things like "We need to focus on vision" or "we lose 5v5, we need to try for a pick" without unmuting players.

  2. A lot of the time it isn't even worth it to type strategy in low MMR. Typing that will probably just get them to flame you even more.

As for how the flame effects you- You have to keep in mind that these player's opinions doesn't really mean much. They're in the same elo as you, so they can't be much better. Also, they're either young or immature(as evidenced by the flaming) and they generally aren't even playing well, so they're generally trying to shift the blame for their poor performance(seriously, nobody flames when they're having a great game and their team is playing poorly). Finding a duo might also help, I know that it's funny to laugh it off when some kid starts flaming our jungler after they get solo killed by their enemy laner twice in a row.

It sucks, but a lot of the time you can't expect the system to weed out everyone who is toxic. You have to either keep everyone muted or try to learn to not let what people say effect you as much(obviously much easier said than done). Best of luck in your future endeavors!

Yikes... I have a friend who had anger issues due to his ADHD play the game. He often got overwhelmed by the toxicity.

Two options I suggested:

  1. Take a break from League. Toxicity can overwhelm even the best of us. A week, a month, a year, it doesn't matter.
  2. Keep everyone muted. Most of the strategy talk just boils down to common sense, and in low elos, you can have the talk, and people will forget that it ever happened a second later.

Just imagine them all as cute angry kittys. You cant be stressed if they're just harmless kittens.

"Dawww whos a cute flaming kitty? How are you even playing league you adorable ball of fur?"
