What do you do when your laners feed the jungler back into the game?

With so many people blaming the jungler for just about everything wrong that ever happens or ever could happen in each and every game I must ask, is it your job to carry the game? Sated being what it is, but even more generally if you decide to focus on counterjungling against a slow clearer, your goal is to put yourself ahead of the enemy jungler or while placing them further and further behind. It is a good theory in theory but it has a tragic flaw: your teammates.

An enemy jungler's main hope when dealing with either of these situations is to use the lacking presence to gank. Of course a smart and/or coordinated team will ward and play in a way that won't give up easy kills. However, in solo queue I would be hard pressed to find any player who took their main job (not feeding) with any seriousness at all. Everyone has snowball fever and gets themselves killed while blaming the jungler for their own lack of warding and map awareness.

So what is the answer? Is directed jungler on jungler aggression a bad thing because every other role matters more? Is it your job to make sure no one dies, even if it means buying your teams only sightstone? Or is personal responsibility a strong factor simply not found at lower elos? How can you put a jungler down and keep him their without your teammates acting as large, neutral monsters?
