It's terrible to first buy because it's build path sucks, and if you buy it as a second or third item, mana isn't even a problem anymore. I think it needs a build path update, and maybe stat changes, like actually giving mana stats.

To be honest, youre wrong. Its a bad first item, yes, but so are alot of first items. If your adc builds IE as a first item, and he isnt outrageously fed, he isnt doing his job. How about a swain who builds rod of the ages last? Such is the nature of some items. In regards to its use, it has a ton of use. The very first champion who comes to mind is Yorick Morrey. You will (should) remember his name! I very rarely build it on talon, depending on how im playing.
