For real - add in wood division for ranked

bronze players troll because they cant lose their ladder position once they've hit the bottom right?

well what if riot made tiers lower than bronze v for those players and made it so that no matter what you'd start at the very least in bronze v and if you trolled or played really really poorly you were demoted into wood or copper or tin division

and instead of it being a normal ranked match it was like a tutorial ranked match with a bunch of tips and stuff that helped you get better at the game.

if you never make it back to bronze you dont get any rewards at the end of the season

and give bronze a small away from league decay that temporarily demotes you if you havent played in months to prevent you from affecting players who actually play regularly and are up to speed on everything.

it would demote you to "copper" division which is a temporary assignment to wood and once you've played 5 wood division games you're promoted back to whatever bronze league you were in.

players in wood division because they're actually not very good at the game however would need to win a certain number of games to be promoted back to the regular division. it's like a friendly "you're really bad at this game and while we want you to play in ranked at the top of your game we feel you need more practice" which i think would go a long way towards improving the experience for lower tiers.

and lastly if that idea sounds good then maybe we could do the same with silver and add in tin division which would be the equivalent of copper division for bronze. if you're away from league you'll decay into tin division until you've played a few warm up games to reinstate your LP since lower tiers dont decay.

tin players would play with high level bronze players and low level silvers.

copper would play with wood division and low level bronze.

if need be tin and copper could mix.
