@Meddler: Suggestion for a Taliyah Buff

I had an idea for a Taliyah buff, one that would giver her a bit more reliable damage, but without adjusting her utility and staying in theme. What if the ranks in her ultimate empowered her autos, but only while she's on Work Ground? In the Bird and the Branch, there's a certain degree of emphasis placed on her well worn sling stones. Yasuo even teases her about picking up stones when she can control them magically. It would give her a bit more kill pressure in lane, without adding strength to her sudden appearances with her ult. Plus, it would help reduce her hideous vulnerability to sieging. Yes, she doesn't have so much burst, but Worked Ground yields the best sling stones.

Honestly her numbers need a change I think. Her cooldowns and mana costs are high, if you want to go for lane dominance (like you tend to want to as a control mage), then you will be using up considerably high amounts of mana, with one full combo often taking up around 3/4 of your mana give or take. Not to mention how easily avoidable her W is, there's a difference between interactive gameplay and complete item reliance, and she almost always requires a teammate or Rylias to land her W, so maybe it needs to be sped up by 25% or so (Just spit-balling).

Also, I like her ult's utility, I just feel like it needs something more, anything really. It just feels like if I really need a wall and wanna be a control mage, I should just play Azir or Anivia. I definitely agree that empowering her autos on worked ground would be really exceptional, it feels accurate to the lore and all in all sounds like a solid idea to make sure that there is a legitimate reason to pick and play her.

So I believe that she needs a minor retooling (kind of like the what the mage rework did to many champs), Because she is just so mechanically simple and mildly ineffective. I'm not saying she cant be strong, I'm saying that she has a poor laning phase, and a rough mid game. All this is coming from a place of love, as control mages are my favorite, I just want her to be viable and fun.

The purpose of Worked Ground is to lower her damage. If you gave her auto damage she's gonna have her auto range lowered even more
