I'm thinking

Gunblade, botrk, Tons of damage, Warmogs, some other tank item

would that work? Thinking botrk cus slow, get the Qs off faster. Gunblade+botrk actives should ensure you can catch your targets.

Rylai's Crystal Scepter seems really good on him as always. Building maybe a Dead Man's Plate or Sterak's Guage (w/ Trinity) are also good options. But Rylai's seems almost core now.

yeah deadmans plate is the item I was thinking as the other tank item but couldn't come up with the name.

How is a mogs on him? With shield now gaining from bonus hp is health a stat worth building? I remember before building health was almost a negative since it just helps any % damages vs you

For bot lane, Trinity Rush into Rylai's, then Tanky.

Boots after trinity, either tabi or merc's. Dead Man's is insane, randuins if yasuo + ADC on enemy team. Visage for MR.

I don't think spellvamp is good on him anymore. No real point as far as I can see. Trinity + Rylai's helps with his sticking problem, and makes him do a shit ton of damage. Gunblade + Botrk has a cooldown, Phage + Rylai's doesnt.

Also makes his Q damage totally hybrid, making him not really need to care about penetration.

Gage is highly situational imo.

Trinity gives all the stats Morde needs anyway, plus more burst.

Warmog's seems okay, but I can't really say if its any better than other defensive items outside of poke comps. It might be good against AP or AD heavy comps after a visage/Dead Man's.
