The Death of Volibear, again.

Volibear has been in a really bad spot for a long time now, often brushed to the side and forgotten about. A player did a very in-depth look at volibear already so ill link that at the bottom of this thread, Highly worth the time to read.

Im a OTP Volibear JG that has 260 games played this season in ranked, with a 60% win rate. Patch 8.4 brought a mini rework to Volibear, bringing riots least favorite champion (jokes) back into the limelight! ... For 7 days until a hotfix that nerfed his new E ability. Volibear has been in such a rough spot in the meta for the last 3 years, and the ever expanding roster of champions does not change this fact. Every champion that Riot releases now has a Dash, or some sort of mobility escape, leaving everyones favorite bear to build a righteous glory 2nd item just to have a shot at finding that Oh-so-sweet pick.

When volibear got buffed, i was pretty estatic to finally bring out the good ol' bear after a long retirement. But the current changes to the jungle have basically rendered him useless (as well as any tank in the current meta).

I would just really love to know when Riot plans on please giving this LONG overdue champion an update? Even Aatrox got updated before him, and Volibear has been out quite a bit longer then him. No matter what, this champ cant seem to be viable for more then a patch at any given time. I truly hate being constantly forced to pick meta if i want to win more often in ranked.

you mean they broke him and hotfixed him becuase he was broken?

voli has a bianry kit... like uydr..

if he reaches u nothing can save you... if he donest he is useless.. its a bad design... he needs a flat out rework... you cant buff him

voli has a bad kit. either he is broken or useless. but i want to give you some positive vibes so: it's already confirmed Riot will rework Voli in the future. my guess: someday after nunu and before the end of next year.

Im guessing no one read the counterplay thread because of everyone whos complaining that hes a good champion, the difference in silver and platinum is night and day when i play this champ in those Elos. Low elo doesn't understand counterplay and builds, mid elo+ does. Please take the time to read the thread i posted!
