why do people leave if u help their lane

because you did nothing to help them and you won't be back in time to help them even though they're down a kill

Letting a wave crash to a tower is simply idiotic. Laners don't seem to understand that after a successful gank, the best thing to do is push and reset the wave and go back to base and return. with 2 people pushing this is done much faster.

Because the concept of wave management does not exist for them.

I've had a toplaner afk when I helped him push his lane after a successful gank. I didn't even last hit the creeps since I got the takedown on the kill, just made sure the garen would back and return asap since his enemy had tp and he had ignite.
