I don't know what it is, or why it happens, but I've noticed between my level 30, and my level 14, that turrets seem a lot more meaningful and feels a bunch more rewarding when y'all finally take one out.

The KDA is a lie1 votesEverything in League is "tuned" according to the current "power" of champions. Which means that runes and masteries are taken into account, and both of these (runes especially) impact the early game a lot, which allows to take down turrets faster than when you just don't have them.
Then there is also the fact that lvl 30 players are generally slightly better at the game than lvl 14 players, which translates into the game seeming "easier".
