Why Malz is the perfect support (and 100% broken)
He's great at deterring dives. Q silences. W blocks skillshots. Passive blocks skillshots. R forces diver to take the full duration of it as tower agro + voidling agro + allied ADC agro (hopefully).
He's grate at making picks. Flash (225 sec cd w/ mastery + lucidity) + ult is ridiculous. If enemy wastes time bursting him, he doesn't care unlike midlane malz, because he's support. He's also a lot harder to burst because of his passive.
Like Brand and Vel'Koz he still does ridiculous damage because of Liandries. He can 100-0 you at level 1 with voidlings. I've done it.
He can force someone entirely OUT OF THE LANE by hitting E-W. Voidlings as an ammo system make his early trading power absurd. You can't hard engage on him because nobody can tank those fuckers.
He has no counters. Closest I've found is Sona (though I'm biased) because you can poke off his shield from far away.
I just made it to Diamond with him, I spammed him while he was still broken because he's gonna (I hope to jesus) get nerfed. Admittedly I had quite a lot of experience on this type of voidling playstyle, since I used to play a ton of AD Malz ADC before the rework.
