Is Varus going stay like this forever?

Varus is by the far the weakest ADC in the game atm.

He has absolutely nothing that makes him compete in this meta. All the other non mobile ADC have something to compensate. Varus has absolutely nothing.

I tried to play him AD, useless. You have only one skill that scales with AD and it needs charging, aiming and directly hit the target to do some dmg. And the damage doesnt feel rewarding at all.

I tried AP Varus, not bad when fed, but so easy to focus that it doesnt get funny. One slow and im done.

Please Riot, he is a very interesting champion, it is a shame to see him in this pathetic status.

ah i got the solution, Varus isnt an adc, he's a zoning/poke champ that can mid, he heavily relies on CDR, his essential items are: item 3004 item 3158 item 3142 , if you build him as adc by getting IE, etc. ur gona fail

strongly, strongly disagree he is immobile and needs strong frontliners to back him up, but his poke, sieging, and teamfight presence are pretty much unparalleled the focus towards crit and away from AD may have hurt him, but getting CDR on AD casters is super easy now, so...

he's the ADC league deserves but not the one it needs right now, basically

He isn't terrible.

He's just getting crowded out by Vayne, MF, and Quinn like everyone else.

Though to be fair, the reduction of AD on items and the nerf to Whisper hurt Varus Q-Focused builds.
