Why can't Riot add an option where you get to decide which Victorious skin you'd like? For example this year I'll be getting the Victorious Graves skin and I don't even play Graves at all and it seems like such a waste to me. I'd rather get a skin that I would actually use rather than just having it just sit there.
Because they are limited edition skins, if you could choose it would ruin the term "limited"
I think they should do this going forward so people can just get a victorious skin they like. Riot can't produce skins fast enough to actually pick a relevant champion for the season, so why should players be tied to a random, irrelevant champion?
Seriously. The first season I was ever gold was season 3 and I got Victorious Elise, who at the time was my favorite character of all time and I felt so happy. Since then we have had Sivir, who I don't play, Morgana, who I don't play, and Maokai, who I don't play and who wasn't even remotely on the map when they released him. The Graves skin is the same probably, Graves has been off the map for a while and they are still releasing it like it's a relevant skin to the meta like Victorious skins used to be.
Next season they should have a website where a mass vote is held for the class (except ADC and Jungler because they already have two skins) and then a vote is held for a champion who doesn't have a skin yet. Each season they just remove the previous season's class from the vote until they go through all 5 lanes. The only issue with this is that characters like Kindred, Bard, Yorick, etc., will never even have a slight chance to get a skin, but then again they have basically always just picked season 1 or 2 champions who are classic to the game anyways. Ironically, Elise is still the newest character to get a victorious skin which is absolutely stupid, they should pick a character from the last couple years or so rather than always going back to the classics.
But then we probably get the same champs every few years cause they are popular despite them not beeing as relevant. Imagine if yorick is played every single game cause hes strong but noone likes him. He probably wouldnt win the vote. I dont like the current system but its pretty hard to find one that makes everyone happy.
