Who is the most difficult champion to master?
I want to learn and master a champion that will be very highly rewarding if you do. Any suggestions?

has one of the highest skillfloors in the game. With difficult mechanics and challenging timing for key abilities, she has a skillcap to surpass even Riven or Yasuo.

Riven
because they nerfed him into oblivion. I would say 
after that for the same reason. I did alright with them when they came out and they were abused in LCS so they nerfed them to the ground.
If you want a high skill cap, with flashy mechanical stuff, do the plays and so on 
and perhaps - not sure about him after his Gameplay Update.
If what you want is a high skill floor champion where you can simply feel good about managing, 
these are the only ones I can think off at the top of my head.
and are very rewarding to master as well as being relatively hard. is also pretty good, and if you want to support, as his ultimate can make or break a win.
kat or ryze, not banned too often and really good if you put your time into them
