I want to climb ranked, but i'm scared to sacrifice LP.

I played ranked and I'm sitting at 82 lp (I think). I'm thinking of playing ranked to get to promos but I have this feeling, this nervous feeling that I don't want to lose LP for some reason. Any help?

I'll give some motivation.

Yesterday I was sitting at Iron 1 6 LP, I watched a video about the challenger Kha Zix main named Damir and felt the urge to play ranked and climbed.

Before each game I told myself that if I deserved to climb I would win no matter what, I played several games, played well in each of them and got to my series out of Iron, I won 3 games in a row and was instantly promoted.

If you deserve to climb you most likely will, and trust me I believe that going 34 / 5 with AP Nautilus mid will take you places

You are 100% guaranteed to get a feeder in your next ranked game. Always happens. I was 92 lp and my next game gave me a jax jungle who ran it down mid after a failed lvl 2 gank. You just have to choose whether you want that game now, or later lol

If you just play to win you will never improve or climb very high.

Play to improve and don't be afraid to lose that's the true way to get better.

Just think of it this way. Each game is a chance to show what you es learned. If you lose take what you learned in that match and go to the next. It’s ok to lose. But go in to each match with a game plan to win instead.

Edit: be ok with losing.

You mean every game is a chance to learn how bad rito matchmaking is

Depends on who you ask. The only time I find my teams unbalanced is when I play flex queue and I’m against d4 players as a silver2. I know solo queue has different mmr than flex but still I feel they could work on balancing that. Like if their main rank is diamond don’t put them any lower than gold 1. Don’t start them in iron.

don't get greedy. set a lower goal and go to it. going from no ranked to fucking challenger is a pain in the ass. so start low and raise the bar each ranked year. once you hit your goal stop. do not go any farther.

I win 15 Lp and lose 19 Lp. I play 5 ranked games a day and stay the same rank, you are fine, you probably gain 21 and lose 15. You can gain 33 LP if you win 3 and lose 2, i gain 7 LP if i win 3 a and lose 2. You are fine. Play ranked and dont think negatively, ots just advanced norms. Oh also dont fucking duo with someone more than 1 division below you, i should be gaining 23 LP rn but im not bc i duoed with a silver 4 fml. He made me lose games and shit and its just not good for me. I am suppost to be gold 1 or gold 2 rn but um stuck at g4 with 55% wr avg bc of someone i duoed with. Dont duo with someone more than 1 division difference, not worth
