What are botters?
as the title asks, what are they? I heard some rumors about the true reason of the heist involving botters but I'm in the dark about this because I haven't been playing computer games, and league for a year yet.

Botters are people who use scripts to automate gameplay, essentially. The Heist was used as a cover for an operation to remove Refer-A-Friend (RAF) rewards from people who used bots to level accounts for them.
