ezreal popular
I've noticed that ezreal is really popular all of a sudden, did I miss a buff on him or something?
I remember the buff on his warp, gave it better damage. but he was still unpopular then,,,

People were just distracted by the new items and the changes to the other marksmen to remember Ezreal is still the same pain in the ass he always was.
Though I do wish people would drop the Blue Build as his default option.
Troiann1 votesIt's cuz Ezreal is basically the "go to" adc for a lot of non adc players. He's so safe, both in lane and in teamfights. While he does lack consistent damage his safety and the massive utility you get from IBG is just so damn useful.
In addition the meta right now is really squishy high damage dealers, outside of some tanks. Blue ez can really chunk squishies while kiting them, while other adcs are better at shredding tanks but less safe and less pokey.
Basically his lack of DPS is no longer a major issue due to his ability to infinitely kite.
