Can We Please Have Shareable Items?

I think Riot should allow some items in league to be shareable between players, similar to how consumables are shared in dota 2.

It may just be me, but if I'm playing support there are times where I want to force feed my adc a health pot so they can continue to stay in lane and farm. Sharing wards would also be helpful. Supports could give some of their wards to the jungler to better help the team's map awareness. Finally, those who have extra gold could give their underleveled teammates elixers so they can survive an upcoming teamfight.

I'm not saying everything should be shareable, mostly just consumables. Not only would this affect teamplay, it would actually make people more grateful towards their teammates (hopefully resulting in less toxicity).

This could very easily make it so the best way to play support would be as an item dispenser for their team, further taxing their gold income and set things for supports back to when they would never get a chance to finish even a single item due to how much their gold was taxed for vision control.

Sharable health potions is an interesting idea. Maybe they could be used in correlation with a mastery so that activating a health potion will fill your health bar until full, then any remaining health will begin to fill the nearest allied champion's health until full or until depleted. Just as one idea.

Sharable wards doesn't really make a whole lot of sense because you could simply place the ward yourself.

I actually really understand the idea behind sharable gold income, however, this is a very bad idea in League of Legends. First of all, you will get situations where gold efficient champions will simply dump all of their gold into hyper carries. Also, you will get people who will cry if you don't share your gold with them because they are behind. And this feature would all but completely negate any benefit from actually winning a lane match up. Sorry to say, I do not like this idea.

i'm not saying gold in general should be shared, but those who are full build and have enough to share could buy their underfed carries elixers to better help them survive.

And yes, there would be whiny people who get angry if you don't buy them something, but playing dota I never had that problem.

So how about this? The shop will allow you to purchase health potions, wards, and consumables and place them in a shared storage window. Teammates who visit the shop can then take from that window. This would at least still require a back to shop, but it would essentially allow for some small amount of 'shared gold.'

And these items can not be sold!

It's a nice thought, but I still want to be able to share my potions in-lane. It was so useful in Dota and it would be something I'd love to see in league.
