Rammus and Predator

Riot is there a reason why our favorite go fast turtle isn't allowed to live this fantasy? Q (power ball) is a channeled spell and can thus be interrupted by and other spell cast silence etc. Predator is a channeled active item that is canceled with any other spell cast etc same as power ball. Meaning you could never do a predator q for massive speed and an unexpected initiation. Riot why do you deny Rammus this? PS I know grasp and after shock are better on him but still.
