A tip to help those ailing from being support secondaries.

To those of you who queue "blank" role primary and support secondaries, I have a temporary fix.

This isn't going to be possible all the time, but when I can do it, I find that I normally can get the role I put as my primary.

Find someone else who plays support and queue up with them. Have your preferred role in your primary and support secondary, but have your friend do it with support as their primary.

Your friend will get support and you'll get your role.

If your friend only plays support, even better, but you can always swap between having support as your primary role.
