5 wins 5 loses and I get bronze 5?
I did my placements and won half of mine and lost the other half, how does that give me the lowest ranking in the game?!

My friend who is Diamond 3 got placed in low Silver so it's understandable that someone in silver would be stuck with getting Bronze 5 no matter what.
BUt important part is do you think it is good way to go?
Accordign to eune.op.gg, my MMR was MMR of silver 2 (1405) before this "soft reset" qutie likley droppign MMR of eveyroen by 1000 points in order to force people climb again, as Riot has no clue how MMR and ELO system works. It requires understanding of Math. And I was silver 4, thus the league system is totally fucked as the MMR difference of tiers is less than 50 points on average.
There's been a lot of outrage about that today with people even finishing 10-0 and winding up in the same place. At this point I just say it's forming into a new queue different from what's returning and just go with it for preseason.
This is how every preseason works if ppl pay attention they will read that you get placed lower than original ranking to make room for the challengers/masters getting dropped. I have high mmr and went 7-3 got gold 3 after being silver 1. It depends on alot of factors.
And if Riot cannot disclose those details we can assume the placement is defacto random. And I am not betting RIot would as they have been proven to be totally incompetent when it comes to math.
Who were the people you went 50/50 against? That's why you were rated that for your starting line.
For example. If you have an MMR of 1500, and you lose 5 games to people whos MMR is around 1000...you gonna get bronze 5.
THus in placement matches you can only lose MMR: Losing 500 MMR for 5 losses and 5 WINS is blatantly totally fucked system. Thus wins give you WAY less MMR than losses. Riot have admit that you have to win 2/3rd of your games to climb. That is direct and blatant proof that "on average" argument is totally false. The order of wins and losses matters a lot.
I have feelling that the totally mathematically bullshit MMR boost due premade teams is reason for this. RIot have admit that the MMR boost is not reasonable for low tier MMR, but for some frigging reason they cannot make simple if testing the MMR of player to check whether use or not.
One, those numbers were clearly place holders, just for the sake of the example; This guy is nowhere near 1500.
Two, losing more points for consistent loses against lower rated people at ratings where you should not be losing that much is not messed up. That is incredibly fair.
You forget several important factors. First: if you are only member of team with good MMR, you get 4 total unskileld people, and enemy has even spread, you lose more LP. This is due the fact average function DOES NOT WORK. IT loses so much information, it is like assessing volumes and areas in dollars.
Riot have also flexed the limitation of even match to give you match. I bet it won't affect the updates much as Riot has refused to do MAJOR and IMPORTANT update taking 4 vs 5 into account when updating MMR.
I'm not forgetting things; You are too busy making assertions and concocting scenarios to pay attention to the fact that this is a Bronze 2 MMR player who is losing half of his games to players that are Bronze 5- Silver 5.
Of course, he would get Bronze 5 in his placements.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!
Ive been there before.
This is normal. It's a new ladder that has to pretty much build up everyone from the bottom. Most people are going to be placed rather low and will have to climb.
Interesting. Riot have forced the face value of this post to 0. My add 1 had no effect. Thus riot are manipulating the score of posts.
Every year...
just play ranked if you ge bronze you will climb fast [slayer-jinx-wink]
