I am overall not spiteful to the game. There are some annoying elements, but I can live with it.
I was upset when Zephyr was removed from the game, but on that same note I was happy when Death Fire Grasp (Deathfire? I forget if it was one word or two) was removed so it balances somewhat. I was just getting into Mordekaiser when they announced the whole juggernaut thing, and I found his playstyle before more fun. I kinda miss wrigglers lantern too. The spectral doggo that followed you was so cool, and something like that should be added again. I know Wrigglers was toxic to the game, but the doggo that followed you around... bruh, it's priceless.
Lets see... more recently, I HATED when Riot gutted Varus's passive to add an active on his W (I've been a near religious Varus main since season 4) and unlike the people around me, I called that his winrate would plummet instantly, and while he is meta again, normal ad/crit Varus was killed with that update. Considering Varus though, I nearly quit the game when I read his lore update. It was terrible and ruined his character on a fundamental level. I would like to know where the writers involved with the destruction of Varus's lore had gotten their education, and if any of them bothers to play Varus, or even read his lore or league judgement (another thing I was sad to see gone, along with the institute of war in its entirety. Remember when the lore was good and actually resembled a fantasy world of magic and war?) Essentially because I don't want to write 90 more lines explaining, the lore is trash and ruined my favorite champion. To rub salt in that particular wound, Kassadin's daughter was made into a champion, while Theshan, Varus's son, was deleted in order for Riot to placate their lgbt fans with a half baked gay love story.
