Change for the sake of change has ruined the game for many players.

What changes has riot made to the game that ruined something that you liked? I have my own personal list but i want to hear what other players miss.

What champion reworks crushed your soul? What item interactions are gone you loved? What playstyles are gone you loved? What strategies do you miss?

Every player is different; but every time a drastic change it is a nail in someones coffin.

<3

Every element of the game that i loved is now gone.

Does anyone else share this same sadness?

I wanna hear the story of why each of you like league more now or like it less now.

P.S. ( watch the video if you can, Its great )

I am overall not spiteful to the game. There are some annoying elements, but I can live with it. I was upset when Zephyr was removed from the game, but on that same note I was happy when Death Fire Grasp (Deathfire? I forget if it was one word or two) was removed so it balances somewhat. I was just getting into Mordekaiser when they announced the whole juggernaut thing, and I found his playstyle before more fun. I kinda miss wrigglers lantern too. The spectral doggo that followed you was so cool, and something like that should be added again. I know Wrigglers was toxic to the game, but the doggo that followed you around... bruh, it's priceless. Lets see... more recently, I HATED when Riot gutted Varus's passive to add an active on his W (I've been a near religious Varus main since season 4) and unlike the people around me, I called that his winrate would plummet instantly, and while he is meta again, normal ad/crit Varus was killed with that update. Considering Varus though, I nearly quit the game when I read his lore update. It was terrible and ruined his character on a fundamental level. I would like to know where the writers involved with the destruction of Varus's lore had gotten their education, and if any of them bothers to play Varus, or even read his lore or league judgement (another thing I was sad to see gone, along with the institute of war in its entirety. Remember when the lore was good and actually resembled a fantasy world of magic and war?) Essentially because I don't want to write 90 more lines explaining, the lore is trash and ruined my favorite champion. To rub salt in that particular wound, Kassadin's daughter was made into a champion, while Theshan, Varus's son, was deleted in order for Riot to placate their lgbt fans with a half baked gay love story.

Change in this game has never been for the sake of change, though. It's always been because of an overwhelmingly voiced opinion. Then that change occurs and people wonder why it happened or they complain that it's not done in the way they wanted. There's always been a reason, not just because of strictly the act of changing. Riot has never operated under that principle lol

The change I hated most was unquestionably the forced Dynamic que and the months of blatant lying about the return of Solo que. Thankfully that was corrected though. Otherwise, nothing has been "ruined" for me. I still enjoy the game.

I like change! I hated it in WoW to wait one year (or even longer) for needed and good changes, because they don't wanted to overwhelm some (lowIQ) players who cry after every change "uuuhhhh this and that has changed!! Now I have to learn something new, buhuhuu".

Yeah let's better play with a shit game for ages because some players are too simple minded to adapt new gameplay.

In my opinion they could patch their new/good ideas every month, as long as they are balanced and tested.

And yes: sometimes changes get worse before they get better. Many items are just old, badly designed and boring and need to be updated, but Riot refuses to do so because of people like you. They just said it (a week ago).

I can't think of a single game that has benefitted from pointless changes in the long run. Outside of LoL, most successful/long-running franchises have hardly changed at all over the years. In fact, it's generally when developers start trying to close the gap between new players and veterans is when the problems start.
