when a bronze player calls someone else trash

I'm Bronze, meaning i'm bad off rip. No arguing with that. I realize that I'm bad, so I actively try to get better. What I don't understand is when the other bronze and silver players i'm paired with call me bad.

Just played with an Ashe who called the entire team bad for the latter half of the game, along with a Mordekaiser who exclusively flamed me from the point that I got 5 deaths.

First of all, to argue that I'm not as bad as you say I am, I stole 2 dragons then soloed the 3rd one. And while the steals led to deaths, to my understanding having the dragon soul pressure over a winning enemy team is worth more than 2 deaths on my part. The 3 other deaths I got up to that point were from the Talon mid that was absolutely steamrolling over Yasuo. Point being, those deaths weren't inting, or me being bad. They were mostly worth something. (Also I got a tower, so I was leading objectives for my team).

The main point here is how frustrating it is when a bronze player calls you bad. First of all, I've KNOWN THIS. You're trying to tilt me or some weird shit by calling me bad, as if I'm supposed to argue with you. "iM NoT tRaSh". Is that what i'm supposed to say? With 10 deaths? Also, you're bronze too! If you call me bad you're being a hypocrite because you are at the same level as me! And sure I was having a bad game, but bad games always come once in a while. Your skill cannot be based off of one game. Speaking of "your skill cannot be based off one game", let's look at your match history! What's this? Ashe has been on a 5 game loss streak with a 2.17:1 average KDA? And I've been on a 3 game win streak with a 3.57:1 average KDA?

That doesn't mean I'm not trash, but I'm pretty sure that means I'm better than you.

League is just pure distilled toxicity. From the devs to the design to the community. There's nothing good here...

Being called "bad" is subjective by the quality people around you, who may or may not actually be ranks higher than you in some other account, so it has even less to do with your rank and more to do with people just being toxic human beings.

It's a coping mechanism. Rather than accept they did something wrong, people would rather blame others or blame the system. If luck is a factor (card games for example), that is a common one as well. Up to a certain point, I'd argue it's healthy to do it. I have to imagine that if a person always internalized all of the negativity that comes from a loss, that person would collapse under the stress and negative feelings. Of course, the other extreme is also bad - only ever blaming everything but one's self means one can never improve as well as everything that comes with being antagonistic toward others.
