So I just played a game with a Sona. I was the Warwick. We get into champ select the support says "Can I jungle?" I deny it she says "It's ok i'm playing on my smurf for 4 games to see how bronze is. Right off the bat i'm thinking: that statement was not true. I have a few reasons for that which include stuff that happened in game (nothing berating her play or anything)

  1. If you're a high elo on your smurf how did you get in Bronze? If you're a high elo on your smurf, shouldn't you get high elo in your promos?
  2. In game she said: "guys stop listen to me i have all the answers we can win off me ill carry" That was around the 30 minute mark. Up till then, all she had said was nothing. I was the one actually saying stuff like "Nice job. Get Dragon. Ward Baron." and i'm a proud Bronzie.
  3. According to op.gg, you've played WAY more games than 4 in Bronze elo. Also, you were Bronze last season as well.

End game screen came and I said, "You don't have to lie to impress other people. In Bronze. You can admit you're in Bronze, everyone else is in it. And I mean, if you telling us that you're high elo is meant to impress us and it ISN'T IMPRESSING US, what's the point of pushing the idea further?

Do you think he/she was a smurf? Are my reasons for why I think she was lying good reasons? I've had a couple of these in my games and it always gets to me when this happens. Please answer my questions, I need a better understanding.

It actually looks like it MIGHT be a someone playing on a friend's bronze account. If you look at the match history the key used for active items changed, summoners changed, and they have been doing better than whoever placed the account. Tthey also pretty much tied you in damage even though you had 17 kills and were suppose to be fed. A 6.5 kda in 90 kill game is pretty good. I'd say it is probably a smurf on a biddys account but they weren't able to carry it as sona.

Side note, it is likely a friends account and not there's because it is very very hard to place in silver, let alone bronze, when smurfing.

846 MMR is Bronze 5 MMR hahahaha whoever it is has lost 8/10 of their last ranked games. They are Bronze 4 rn and definitely NOT a smurf. IDK why people lie like that.
