Kalista can kite ADC's!

I was 1 v 1ing a Kalista as Jinx and I was winning then all of a sudden she just kites herself out of my range and walks away. What the actual fuck?

Yeah it's annoying... for other ADCs, but you were Jinx!

You should have switched to Fishbones. Kalista can't kite any further when she is out of her own range.

Well, the whole point of Kallista's kit is to be able to kite just about anybody. She would lose in a straight up fight against another ADC. Especially since her ult requires her to have her soulbound teammate.

According to Meddler, that's not her purpose. She's suppose to be an ADC that's all about objective control. Not sure how that one got screwed up...

Where in his post did he say she's "all about objective control"? That was supposed to be one of her STRENGTHS, not her sole reason for existing. Her kit's built around cooperation and mobility while she builds up damage on Rend to execute her opponents. Her objective control is just her E.

Her objective control is her W (passive and active) as well as her E. It's as much a strength as her mobility.

Her W is vision control on active and is fairly lackluster at defending objectives, much more usable as a general scouting tool. Her W passive is also much weaker for objective control than Kog's or Vayne's abilities. Thus, why her E is the problem here.

I also feel like you read the last sentence of my post and replied. Nothing about how she's still "all about objective control". Nothing about her cooperation aspect. I didn't even mention her lore, the fact that half of her abilities still have nothing to do with objectives...

As someone who plays both, what happened to Fishbones, Zap, and your Chompers?

I did all that and of course she was out of range for Chompers and easily missed my Zap. I used Fish bones and I had frozen mallet and she kited her way out of my AA Range.

Why did you have Frozen Mallet on Jinx? And did she keep attacking you as per the usual kiting method (which should have been countered by Fishbones) or just run away from you?
