Petition: 5 Bot wins before PVP allowed

Hello everyone.

This is something I think we can all agree is long overdue.

Are you as sick as I am of people queueing in with a first time champion who has no clue how to use them and no concept of what other champions can do to counter their abilities? Game after game, people join and wait until after the game loads to say 'first time so-and-so' and then proceed to usually feed horribly and end up with a ff@20 or worse, refuses to give up and then the game becomes a massacre.

I have a solution and its not the best but its something guaranteed to make people more familiar with their champion before they can go into PVP battles with them. The concept is simple: You are required to have 5 co-op Intermediate bot game victories with any champion before you can queue in with them in PVP. That's it.

Five victories gives you enough time to actually know -something- about your champion rather than learning them on the fly. The idea of people going into normals, team builder, and sometimes ranked as a first time champ and expecting these wonderful results is absurd, and it hurts the people playing the game who want to win and at least have fun but end up bailing out their 1/10 adc who forgot to mention it was their first time. It also is a bad experience for the person playing the champ the first time, since its a bad memory.

Those champions with a level 3 or higher mastery are "grandfathered" in and stay available at any time, but any champion with no mastery points or level 1 or 2 are added in to the requirement. It seriously needs to be done, and as quickly as possible. This hurts absolutely nobody and allows a team to actually function with people who know their champs to -some- extent. While it won't prevent complete newbs or unskilled players, it'll do a lot to remove a significant element to people's losses since its hard to come back when a player feeds certain champions 5 or 6 times.

Riot already keeps track of your bot co-op victories and losses as it is. So, on a new patch, you add a quick code that has a number from 0-5 on every champion who is level 2 or below. This represents how many co-op victories they have achieved. When you hit 5, the champion is unlocked for PVP and you get a notice. 5 games on the rift in co-op mode is about 75 minutes and treeline mode is about the same length. The easiest and most efficient solution so everybody knows that the people they are playing with aren't purposely clueless about the abilities of their champion, which prevents unskilled reports as well.

If you are as tired as I am of this, let's all get this petition going and ask Riot to install the requirement so that we can play any PVP game (outside of ARAM) in peace without having to worry about "first time kalista" joining the game and having a 0/5 score by the time ten minutes is up. Some champions simply are too complicated to get in one single game, this is as much for the first-timer's protection as it is anybody elses. Nobody wants a bad memory as their first time in the game, right? Nobody wants to lose because of a first-timer, right? Let's get this to become a reality and we'll never worry about it again!

Good luck and thanks for your time - reply and sign your name below if you agree and when we get enough hopefully Riot will answer!!

this is the worst idea it would take a stupid amount of time just to get a decent pool of champions, i mean i understand the frustration but people having to spend 75 minutes against bots(which honestly teach you nothing about the champion other then what your abilities do, which you can learn from the skills tab in the store) is just stupid.

I don't think this is a large enough issue that it warrants such a steep punishment like this. But it should be a requirement that you play at least one game with a champion before you queue it up for ranked.

who cares if you win or lose in a normal game. you should be playing that either for fun or for personal practice on your own champion. if you get paired with a noob or someone new to a champ oh well. the game doesnt affect LP. and if it happens in ranked, well thats unfortunate.

so many threads of pointing out teammate problems and no one looking for tips on how to get better.

5 may be over the top, I would totally be for a requirement to play 1 bot game per champion before doing pvp with that champion.
