Why is Syndra kept in her oppressive state and her nerfs were reverted, because they're searching for more appropriate nerfs, but 
did not even get her chance and got gutted? Would it be so hard to have Syndra bad for ONE patch? Also, isn't she having too much spotlight in the past MONTHS 
? AND her winrate droped more than expected 
? Playing champion favourites again...?
Abyssphere4 votesSyndra was bad for the entirety of season 5 and the first half of season 6, so having a slightly longer than usual period of strength now doesn't seem that inappropriate to me. On top of that, it's totally valid to delay nerfing someone because you want to do it the right way. They didn't do it for Taliyah because... they didn't need to think of more appropriate Taliyah nerfs. With Syndra they're halfway to reverting her rework, and that's not something they could do on a whim.
She'll be nerfed next patch so just ban her and wait it out. Who knows when she'll be in the meta again after that.
And just lol at the idea that Riot plays favourites with Syndra. She spent such an incredibly long amount of time as a terrible champion for absolutely no reason at all and they refused to make her viable until her rework. She is far from their favourite.

I Agree. Syndra is far from a favorite. Everytime Riot attempts to tweak her, they completely phuck her (MYMU). It seems to me that if anyone complains Syndra is too OP, her stun gets completely gutted and near impossible to land, or her early dmg is less effective than 2 auto attacks (5.4). It took Riot like 3 patches to fix her stun.
With the new PBE changes, I disagree with Riot deciding to increase the CD on her ult, because she's basically being reverted to before the MYMU (aside from the W changes).

Levu2 votesVayne got nerfed 2 patches in a row and her Win rate WENT UP. They really have to be careful nerfing champions and playing with thier kit because sometimes it's not actually unbalance, it's just the meta shift.
Like people are playing Rengar, Kha Zix and Yasuo so Riot is trying to nerf poppy.

On the PBE, Syndra's W is being changed, so no more multi-sphere throw. R cooldown increased. Maybe do some research before complaining about such matters.
