How the hell is making FQC's passive disable on minion kills "Ruining the Item for Supports"
Honestly people they just nerfed the interaction with the item in midlane while keeping it just as strong in the support role.

Well the entire point of not having tribute disabled with FQC for supports was so they could last hit waves nobody was there for and still have the gold income for poking the other guys whenever they needed it. This will be a cut to their gold income a little bit, but I can't seeing it ruining the item for supports. I will say this though, the fact that the item is in such a state that mages are abusing it that supports had to get caught in the crossfire of it's nerfs I find ridiculous. The item never should have gotten Twin Shadow's Active, Twin Shadows should have been made worth taking
I still think we will continue to see this item in the mid lane on mages. I don't think Riot actually addressed the problem at all. I never thought the problem was with the gold yes that was part of the reason is was picked but I don't think that the gold alone is why it was picked. The main problem has to do with how cheap this item is and the awesome stats it provides for such a cheap gold price allowing mid lane mages to spike that much quicker.
It gives a fair amount of AP It provides some nice CDR Gives better mana regen than a morello Still provides gold which is all ways a plus The item is cheap and has a nice cheap build path with low cost items all around the board The active on it proves another means to chase or escape
This item is still everything a mid lane mage would want but offered at a cheaper price to allow mid lane mages to spike that much faster. Riot didn't change anything except how much gold I can collect off the item passive, but I'm not noticing a difference either way so the items real problems still haven't been addressed.
Uhh.. not sure if you're joking or not. It's stats are very subpar for a finished item. The ONLY reason it was bought was for the increased gold, and the active. With the gold no longer so accessible, theres no reason to sacrifice stats alone for the active.
I love the item. Finally utility items are holding their own against damage items. This means the game is in a good state. Finally there is an item that offers true site that doesn't suck too. Consider building
later in the game to make the active useless. AD mids can rush
supports can get
as a second item. You can always build
to completely cancel the active and some. Consider your builds people.
