Petty griping about missions

Really? My games didn't count towards mission completion because I didn't notice the alert immediately upon logging in and didn't hit the 'begin' button? Come the fuck on, that's stupid and terrible. Every other time there's missions for some event going on, they take effect immediately, but this one requires you to hit a button first or they don't count? That's stupid and terrible.
