so i like playing pantheon mid but im not sure what to build. the most successful build ive used is ghost blade into black cleaver into deaths dance with conqueror. i see that keegun? that one pantheon main uses trinty force and black cleaver as his core but he plays him top lane. also in my runes should i take ultimate hunter? his ult is awfully long cd
You need to build him to be as useful as possible in late game, not for midgame power. Triforce is good if youre fed, but black cleaver is a must. Then maybe Maw if youre facing a fed AP/ multiple AP champs. Boots to taste, to fit whatever resistances you need for the match. Steraks is good since you'll be in their faces. Rest should be resistances, because late game you'll pretty much just become a tank since that's all hes really good for past the 20 minute mark
well in mid lane you wouldnt be facing the amount of tankyness /sustain as you would in top lane. also you would be vs more ranged /mage types and /or assassins.
one might consider lethality in mid lane due to facing match ups of people not stacking armor/hp
