Malzahar's Voidling Procs

So I used to play a bit of Malzahar in the mid lane and was planning on practicing him a lot. Then they changed him; however, the changes seem strong so I still plan on learning him well.

I had a question about his voidlings since things may have changed with the new Malzahar. What spell effects do they proc for items? I've heard that when they attack, they can proc Rylai's, but can they also proc Liandry's? What about Luden's Echo? I'm just trying to think of a build for him with the new way he's played and I can't find many good ones.

His Voidlings are a very odd thing when it comes to item interactions. Though yes item 3116 (though it doesn't slow for as long) and item 3151 can be procced by his Voidlings, they have other fun interactions.

They interact with item 3165 due to them dealing magic damage they can give the target Grevious wounds and same goes for item 3033 but instead with their physical damage. They can shred armor with item 3071 due to the physical damage. And they do benefit from your magic penetration and armor penetration.

Rylias and Liandrias are great items on him and considered core because his voidlings and your E can proc them on every attack/hit. His Voidlings can't proc ludens.
