I think Riot should implement pay to play Ranked Que. I think it would solve the problem of the people who just want to casually play, or the people who get tilted one game, and troll the next. It would eliminate a lot of the problems with climbing out of lower ranks. It could put you with people that know how to play their roles, people who want to build a team comp, and people who actually put their heart into climbing. Riot can also leave the normal ranked queue for people who don't/can't pay to play, and want to troll, and mess up other people's games just because they don't agree with in game calls.

I'm tired of putting everything into each game, de-escalating other teammates petty fights. I'm tired of watching my teammates troll each other because someone told them to ward, or not over extend or chase. It's very frustrating to try to build a team comp in Champ Select and having people just selfishly pick a champ that they only want to play despite it not really fitting the team comp.

Pay to play Ranked will eliminate those who don't care about playing, or those who just grieve others because they just don't care.

All this would do is shrink the Ranked pool, it wouldn't stop people with disposable income from paying the $20 and trolling anyway for kicks and giggles. I could actually see the trolls getting a bigger kick out of it because the only people left in Ranked would be the hyper sensitive "Ranked is my life" kind, so every game the troll would get the reaction they were looking for.

The smaller pool would likely result in people dropping ranks from where they currently are too, as there'd be fewer "casual baddies" to fill Bronze/Silver.

If you want a perfect team experience, form up a team yourself. Ranked 5s are actually pretty competitive.

Pay to play could work and make everyone use their cell phone number and email address to link the account to the ranked system being paid for. That way if you troll and get reported you will be punished. Makes it a lot harder to create multiple accounts unless you want to play for multiple accounts. Then limit the phone number and email address combo to one account.

i honestly see this as a strong idea. firstly if you have to pay to play ranked if your account gets banned they can prevent you from making a new ranked account by banning that credit car for the ranked season pass. which would cought down on the number of people that do that very thing. secondly this would also yes make troll come out the works more. but they get 1 maybe 2 accounts to do that before presto they are no longer in the ladder. overall the less people in a lader means the easier it is to climb. having 4 accounts in top 10 of challanerger is not helping challenger que. you took positions for your que from 3 other people. and you then want to complain on how long you have to wait for your que times. l

Okay, all of you people are absolutely ridiculous. This is a game! I don't understand why so many people put their heart and soul into a damn video game. How long do you think this game is going to be around 4? Eventually, League of Legends will fade away and nobody will even remember it. All of you people who play ranked act like this is your life. You act like you being in silver 3 rank is going to win you a billion dollars or something. Yeah sure, some people do play this game competitively for money. But most people don't. Most people are teenagers were just looking to have some fun. So you can argue all day about people paying to play ranked. But here's the deal. I play ranked very rarely. Not because of lack of skill. It's because everybody in ranked is a total douchebag. I have never met somebody nice in ranked. I was playing as a support one game and an Ezreal got mad at me because I had 10 minion kills. He had over a hundred! He was trying to blame him being a bad player on me and killing 10 minions. you cannot honestly give me a logical explanation for why people that play this game are so mean online. Because let's be honest, most of them are just a bunch of Geeks behind a computer screen who can talk trash. Come to my face and say something like that, and you'll be pissing your pants. So, how about we end the argument here. No, nobody should be paying for a stupid game. There is absolutely no need for it! If you play this game as a serious player, then you need to realize that there are plenty of other people who don't. And instead of trying to punish them for not being as serious as you, how about you stop being so serious about it?
