So whenever you enter a promo series they give you this message saying you are guaranteed one of your selected roles in your pro series but...if I choose a top lane and jungle every time am I not already guaranteed one of those slots? What is the point of this message? I always play ranked alone if that makes a difference.
It means that you can't be autofilled during your promo series.
You know what's a role that is "gauranteed" every single time? Support
Basically it means you are exempt from autofill.
For diamond+ there exists autofill... a cancerous horror that is supposed to help the already not-too-bad queue times (at least for me and my d2 friends)
when you are in promos you will not get autofilled if you are not diamond+ you will not get autofilled
therefore you dont need to worry my friend
