Bronze IV is a complete and utter JOKE.

I'm so fed up with this elo. No one has any map awareness, game knowledge, micro, etc etc.... you get the point. How the hell am I supposed to get out of Bronze IV when my adc doesn't even understand how to farm and how to position... I have kog'maw's trying to front line and vayne's trying to 3v1 my opponents, and yasuo's who sit there and auto the tanks instead of diving back line. No joke, I just had a game where I pinged be careful 7 times and said "reset", my yasuo goes in 3v1 under tower and dies. Also, I'm not really a good hyper carry player, and I mostly play tanks and enchanter/AP supports. If you have any suggestions to what I should play or what I can do to improve my game please do not hesitate to tell me (I hear people saying you shouldn't use support to climb in bronze IV, and I'm starting to think they are correct). In my opinion I'm a low silver level support. In no way am I saying that I am a amazing player, I just think that these people need to understand the game better before they go into ranked. Anyway for listening to my rant on wood elo, I hope everyone has a fantastic day :D

Here's my OP.gg: http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=Echostormxx (As you can see I go positive almost every game and average a 7.41 KDA on Taric over 9 games with a 56% winrate.)

Update: I made it into Bronze III with 50 LP if anyone is curious. Played AP cho'gath top and got fed pretty much every game GG ^_^

Update 2: Bronze II GG ^-^

Update 3: Silver 5

Best way to find out if you are actually a low silver support would be to make a new account and level it up, then play your placements which will normally put you around silver 5 (don't know how it is now at the beginning of the season but normally it is like that) and see if you can hold your elo. If yes then you will also sooner or later climb out of bronze, if not you know you have to improve.

Support is not optimal in low elo since people don't really use what you offer to them but at the same time you can balance out the mistakes your teams make with your ultility (this works especially well with enchanters cough Soraka cough )

From just looking at your matchistory you seem to play pretty solid, low death count, good builds and good warding. Only thing that looks not good is your farm when you play midlane you should work on that if it is your off-role. I can't say anything about your macro game just from your matchhistory but I guess that is maybe where the problem lies. Watching lcs, watching proplayers and their streams (Aphromoo is a great pro support player that streams regulary on Twitch, he was also the shotcaller for his team, you can learn tons of the stuff that he explains) or just looking up guides could help with that.

As a fellow Taric player that is around plat I would suggest that you finish your Sightstone ealier, not only for the vision but because since you build very active-heavy ruby sightstone would be great for you early. You could go item 1001 -> item 2049 -> item 3190 -> item 2045 -> item 3107 -> item 3401

My fullbuild for him is this: item 2303 item 3117 item 3107 item 3504item 3190 last item one of these item 3222 item 3001 item 3110 item 3143 item 3050 item 3109 depending on the situation. You can also pick different boots especially when behind. With your build you will have mana problems that could stop you from saving your team mates in criticall moments, also you are not using his gigantic potential as a healer/shielder by going full tank. I do think summoner 4 summoner 14 is better for him than summoner 4 summoner 3 , since he is already able to keep everyone alive for an immense amount of time. If you make plans with your adc you can also do a cheesy lvl 1 kill by first finding out if they have to leash for the jungler (carefully walk up into the direction of the buff and ward around there). If that is the case you just wait in the bush that is inbetween the lane and their jungle and just wait until they basically run into your E. They have to always burn atleast one flash and come to lane low health and at best you get a kill or two. If they don't have to leash you can wait in the bush on the lane that is furthest to their tower but that strat is kinda risky since it often does not take the enemy by that big of a surprise and they can trade back.

And I know that is probably the least thing you wanna hear but the good old lvl 7 Yasuo that dives 1v3 still exists even in Plat/Dia ;D Just play your best and people like that won't be a problem in the long run. Just remember: If you think you are higher elo than you are right now you have the chance to get 4 feeder into your team while the enemy would have 5.

Hi, thanks a ton for taking the time to write out your response. I think you're right about building sighstone earlier and I'll give ignite a try too on taric. May I ask why eye of the watchers? Is it more gold efficient? Midlane is actually the role I play least, and I'm pretty bad xD (those normals were just for fun to try out new champs). I play top and support and I forgot to add that in most of my games I try and shotcall and ping people back from unwinnable situations, I think a lot of people are just reluctant to go for objectives in bronze even when me or another teammate pings for some reason, and sometimes games are lost because of it.

There are multiple reason for why I build a very early (most of the time I even rush it) Eye of the Watchers. First of all in my opinion item 3401 is just bad. Sure the shield is nice to have, but the more active items you have to press in a fight the more complicated and confusing it gets, also the shield is pretty underwhelming for taking up a whole slot in your inventory. Better to have Solari with another tank item. Eye of the Watcher is also not only super cost efficent but you get free cdr (which is an extremly important stat for Taric, you want to lower his Ult cd as much as possible and as fast as possible) and vision in one item. I mean if you like Face of the Mountain then don't hold back it is definitly viable, I just don't like it ^^

Pick a champ that has very high kill potential and is very safe.

DO NOT FEED, but make ballsy flash plays to get yourself super fed

roam if you think you can use your lead to help your feeding team (especially after getting your tower)

An example of these safe hardcarry champs: Fizz, Annie, a lot of midlane mages that have decent CC, vayne, akali - pretty much anything that can either 1v5 if fed enough, can 1v5 with your team as a meatshield or can kill 1 or 2 people and escape.

I personally play xerath:

safe at range incredible poke and aoe in teamfights ok stun good ult and q range to finish off kills (kill potential)

^ pretty much the last point is the most important (although safety is amazing too)

being able to kill a person or sometimes two that are barely getting out alive can be the difference between a 2 for 0 trade and a 2 for 2. Plus this gets you fed.

Haha, I would play mid but I'm just not very good at it T-T. I mostly play tanks and supports in top and bot lane. I tried out xerath a few days ago and he feels strong, thanks for the help :D.

Ask one of the ADCs you played well with to duo

u have to carry them in lane, pick champs that can make good plays. Pick champs u can just not rely to heavily on people

If you're in Bronze IV elo, that means you ALSO lack the skills you blame others for lacking.

Edit: After looking at your op.gg, just stop playing Taric in such a low elo. Taric needs smart teammates, not a bunch of apes.

Normally I'd tell you to suck it up and that you belong in the rank you are seeing as I've easily leveled several accounts from Bronze to Diamond, but I will give you one piece of advice. You need to learn something other than support until you hit at least Silver. Your runes are correct, your picks are good, your build are spot on and most of the time appropriate for the situation you're playing.

You can be at a level above Bronze 4 but you won't get there by playing a role intended on bringing out people's best when their best quite frankly just isn't good.

Hey man I think you should focus on a hard carry role like jungle or mid.

You may enjoy support but it is hard to carry in that role in bronze elo. Everyone is just so bad and learning the game that you just need to hyper carry, keep in mind the enemy team is just as bad as your teammates. Except in promos lol thats a different story though.

Any champions you'd reccomend playing? Just curious.

I don't even know if I am the guy to recommend champions because All i play is yi, udyr, darius, and garen lol. I can hyper carry low elo is yi and udyr not so much as darius or garen.

You can see that I had some games where my teammates carried me but I was actually camping there lanes pretty hard. Having an impact on the game is important for team work. I think I had like 2 games where I just fed so hard I got carried super hard lmfao.
