Add an explanation for the grade you received?

I kind of dig the new Mastery system, and the grades at the end of matches are interesting. Could we perhaps have a page explaining why we received the grade we did, maybe as a point of reference to what we could improve upon for that champion/role?

Perhaps break the grade down as a percentage based on wards, cs, KDA and so forth, based upon how the grade is derived from similar champs played in that role. Probably couldn't fit it on the end of match summary page, but you could add a tab to the match history site. I think it might add some insight into Riot's grading scale, and maybe encourage a few people to focus on areas to improve.

And, you know, ward more. item 3361

I don't mind the points accumulation but getting a B score when you feel you deserve higher is frustrating.

I would rather they remove the grading system entirely, as opposed to giving your score clarity, honestly.

No it should be hidden, people will just start gaming it if they know how it is calculated.

Right, I've also noticed that supports seem to get S ratings more often than other roles? Is it because of KDA or ward kills or damage dealt, how is the grade calculated?

However, this could be like our hidden match making rating (MMR), and Riot could never tell us why or how..

I got an S for a few games where I feel like I didn't deserve it at all. Alistar jungle game last night, I got counter jungled to shit, ambushed constantly, needless to say, it was a MISERABLE game. Game dragged on, and I just became a giant wall for my team while they did the damage and I just hulk smashed the ground and died. Final score, game won, 5-11-28. 4 wards placed. S rank.

Wut.

Grades are kind of confusing. I got a B on a Malphite game where I did my best to ward, hit almost all my ults on at least 3 people, ganked every lane and went 4/0, but still lost. I also has a Thresh game where I lost lane hard due to an AP cait, only used my sightstone when I remembered it was there, and did very mediocre. I won because I got carried, and I got an S+.

It's pretty much just KDA. My team had 0 deaths, but a kill count of around 15 or less, and everyone got rated B or lower. Sidenote, enemy team surrendered at 20. So yeah, forget the "Champion Mastery" system as it offers absolutely nothing outside of the obvious.

I know this is weird, but I remember getting an S rank after losing a game. I was like, "I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth, but... HOW!?"

15/0/7 game as Draven, 37mins long, 200+ creep and the most damage out of everyone on both teams. Granted I had 6 wards placed while my support had 28 and the lee had 30 ( we never lacked ward coverage so i could focus on my item builds instead of wards)

Out of all of this I still only got a A+ does wards really factor into your rank that much?! Rito plz

I think a rioter said that the grades are based on the universal kda ratio of the champion....for example if you go with dunno...mf are you kda is better than her universal kda you get a better grade.

is a grade A good

ADepressedLeona1/12/2017, 4:09:28 AM1 votes

Well, for one I think it's based on what role the champ is played most, which is kind of annoying.

Like for instance, I jungle Poppy a lot (mainly because I like playing Poppy but don't like top lane)

I don't get much CS as a top lane Poppy should because I spend time ganking, so unless I really, really pop off, it's kinda rare I get an S.

WTH? I got a D- on my smurf account for 4/0/7. (My smurf account's Mimi SAO, and It was the game on August 7th/8th.) I may have gone afk in the middle, but I don't think that would affect my score (and I didn't get a leaverbuster or even a warning). Please explain why this happened.
