Champion select and Locking In

While waiting to lock in your champ do you ever get lost in thought rearranging your runes and miss pushing the lock in button? Cause it happens to me at least once a week.
I would love, if I could lock in without leaving my rune selection or just auto lock me in if i've already made a selection and am too busy to hit the lock in button. It would be a great quality of life improvement that would save me that 3 LP every time it happens as well as less games getting accidentally que dodged.

When i haven't closed my client it goes mute so i Miss the sound que to stop what i'm doing and lock in. I know i should just restart the client but i'm lazy and want to play now! haha

P.S. I want the jungle potions back! I'm a low elo player and want my training wheels back!

I don't because i do runes after everyone has picked to make sure i get the best out of them. I would appreciate more if they added 10 seconds to the last timer before the games starts.

I think the locking in feature is there to make sure you are still in the game and not disconnecting or something. You wouldn't want someone to have the game lock in for them while they are AFK for some reason
