So, Hunters potion got removed today and I hate it. Almost rage quit my game today when i found out mid game. If you also want hunters potion back please make this a big thread and post a reply and give it attention!

I love hunters potion, Almost every game it is saving my ass with that last few points of mana i need to use a skill or the amount of times i got away from ignite because of the potion, or won a fight with 100 or less hp because of that potion, or how many times i'd jungle, get a potion stack and between smite/ lifesteal and potion be back in fighting shape to save the day!

And when i read the patch notes for why it got deleted?

"Hunter's Potion is an underpowered and seldom-picked option for players. We're removing it from the game as we don't feel it’s necessary in the current jungle."

Removed because it was seldom picked. WELL IN LOW ELO IT IS PICKED ALL THE TIME! Seems like another decision made because of how items are used at high elo of play but us guys at the bottom like to be catered too as well.
So put it back, now! Pretty please!

Consider me and my wallet on strike till you put it back, no more purchases without a hunters potion!

Riot cant tell the defference betwen "keeping the game fresh with updates" and "lets throw a cat in the bag and see what happens"

Hunters potion was a noob trap, end of story. If you had to use it as a crutch to avoid learning how to kite jungle camps, then I think it’s a good thing it was removed tbh.

here comes all the people who built the item out of nowhere. The item was barely used and got removed. Simple as that. This is literally like Dominion where as soon as it got removed suddenly everyone played it regularly at that! but then you look at their match history... not a single game. Sorry but maybe if people actually bought the item it'll have stayed. Sorry but you being in the 0.000000000000001% of people who bought it mean nothing. Item was terrible, no point in ever taking it, anything that item could achieve is very easily solved by simply giving the champions some base stat buffs.

Hunters potion was great because you could use a charge to help get through a camp and the charge would be replaced. I don't know where they get their info from, but either it's wrong or the item was just underrated by players who didn't quite understand how it worked and deemed it useless or the fact that riot themselves didn't have it under their recommended builds so new players had no idea it even existed. Bring back Hunter's Potion!

Hunters Potion is essential in making junglers without built-in sustain viable. It's also crucial in keeping you topped up for ganking, and almost a must-have if you plan on doing raptors early game. So fucking stupid they removed it. But hey, guys, Ohmwrecker!!

I too feel a void where hunters potion used to be. Seems like mage junglers are going to suffer the most. I thought it was great but you cant ignore facts i guess. If no one was taking it besides the few on this post and myself then I guess we were wrong.

this was by far the single biggest nerf in this recent patch for me. every single jungle that i play relies heavily on the sustain hunters pot gives. it is a mistake i dearly hope they remedy

To be fair it was a noob trap. The people that took it were either Ornn jungles (which makes sense considering his mana costs) and people that couldn't path correctly and were low on HP/mana.

item 2032 Hunters Potion was really good on Ivern. Because when you mark camps you loose a lot of health so I consume a couple of charges of Hunters Potion, but when you finish those camps you get those charges back.

As for Mana, he had this to help him out item 3028

Now I can't use the Ivern item 2032 strat anymore.

I feel like anyone who needs hunter's potion to be successful doesn't know how to clear jungle camps efficiently

Its a crutch for bad junglers who don't know how to play efficiently. The only jungler worth taking it on is Ornn because he doesn't have to recall to purchase items.

I only ever built it once when it first came out, realized it's garbage and never built it again. Maybe learn how to play jungle properly.

Never used it, never needed to. Useless item is useless. If you need that many pots to survive, you are clearly doing something wrong.

When I saw this post I thought it was a petition to bring an old item back in the game, TIL Hunter's potion is still an item. Haven't seen it in plat in at least a year.

Without hunters potion jungling is so hard in low elo, its like riot only care about their high elo players and don't give a damn about low elo. The potion is so effective in mid game as you can just go around your jungle kill some camps amd get a free potion with mana in no time. Riot is trying to make the game less fun now. If we are going a non-jungler without hunters potion the guy will think he made a big mistake going the champion. If you want to remove an item remove Ohmwrecker, who in the hell uses that item 1 out of 100 will use Ohmwrecker.
