Is there a reason why dodging in champ select coumts as a loss in promos?

I just started my promos to go to silver 3 to 2 and I dodged a game in champ select because I had to go to the washroom and it counted as a loss to my promos. Is there a reason why?

Ohh, I didnt know people check their teamates winrate in champ select, that makes sense. Do you also loose lp if youre not in promos?

-3 LP for the first dodge. -15 for every dodge after

you reset after 16 hours or so
